What to Expect
Ever found it difficult to commit to group DBT sessions due to time constraints, scheduling challenges, or simply wanting to learn in a more private, self-directed way? The Self-Paced DBT Course offers a flexible, on-demand alternative that allows you to access the benefits of Dialectical Behaviour Therapy at your own pace and in your own space. Designed to be approachable and practical, this course supports you in building meaningful skills without the rigid timelines. Whether you're completely new to DBT or have encountered it before, this format gives you the freedom to learn when it suits you best and revisit lessons as often as needed.
Over a minimum of four weeks, you’ll be introduced to DBT’s four core skill areas: Mindfulness, Emotion Regulation, Interpersonal Effectiveness, and Distress Tolerance. Each weekly module contains a series of lessons featuring written explanations, guided video content, and optional reflective exercises to help you integrate the skills into daily life. You’ll be encouraged to go at your own pace, gradually absorbing and practicing each concept in a way that feels manageable and supportive. This course is a gentle, accessible way to develop powerful tools for emotional regulation, stress management, and healthier relationships—on your own terms.
